When people think of Christians, they think nice, loving, caring and other things of this nature.
Well this stereotype is true for most Christians. It's easy to love the person who is sick or poor. But what about the people who are living in sin? Should we just not love them because they are sinners? Wrong. You and I and every other human being on this planet are sinners. But a lot of the time we consider the sins we commit "small" just because the consequences of them aren't as great. So what about the fourteen year old girl who is pregnant? She deserves love too. She sinned. Her sin just had greater consequences than that of a sin we'd consider "small." Look at it from this perspective: If every single sin had the same exact consequence (which someday, will), we'd be just as bad as her. In today's society, Christians can be very judgemental. Also, Christians only want to be Christians when it is convenient for them and their life. And that includes me and you also. But when we are put in the situation of being told to love the person living a sin, we decide we can be a Christian later but not then because that person isn't "good enough." We are supposed to look more like Christ. Jesus loves EVERYONE no matter what they've done or not done. So, we should try to be more like Him and love people unconditionally.
Just a thought.
